The International Chaplains Association – Interchap Global,
was born to UNITE – EMPOWER – ACT

In these three basic objectives we want:
– Facilitate mutual encouragement, support and understanding among chaplains around the world.
– Support and promote voluntary chaplaincy and, for this purpose, safeguard ethical, professional and biblical standards among chaplains.
– Provide spiritual, psychological and health services to individuals and organizations in need, such as hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, educational institutions, churches and businesses.
– To help combat and prevent drug and alcohol abuse by providing assistance, treatment and rehabilitation to these addicts and their families.
– Support efforts aimed at improving the quality of life of people and the environment where they live through the development of educational, social, cultural and environmental activities.
– Offer and promote continuing education opportunities for all chaplains so that they can better perform their activity of helping those in need.
– Increase the knowledge, respect and appreciation of chaplains, within their communities and elsewhere through education.
– Use all the means and efforts necessary to fulfill its purposes, including the organization of service and teaching units that are necessary for the performance of its activities.

We make ourselves available to you to offer education and training for volunteer chaplaincy activities.
